We were at the Shefchik's for Christmas this year. James, Natalia, and their kids came up from California for a week. It was so fun to see them and see how grown up Jacob and Sam are now. They went sledding on the hill next to my parents' house several times. I tried to sled-surf down it a couple times since it's not that big of a hill. I didn't make it all the way to the bottom either time.
Sarah, my sister, is going to have a baby anytime now. We threw a baby shower for her last weekend. It was great to see some old friends.
Addy is 11 months now. I can't believe she'll be a year in less than a month. Crazy! We still haven't got a professional family picture yet. I've been planning on getting one since she was 5 months old, but have never made solid plans. We'll do it around her first birthday now I guess.
Addy is now walking around holding ont0 the furniture and every day it seems like she can stand up on her own longer and longer. I think she'll be walking by the time she's one. We'll see. She is still kind of short though. Most of her clothes are still 6/9 month size, but who knows when her next growth spurt will be. I tried to capture her walking around furniture, but she never cooperates. But watch her mouth. She loves to "talk". The second clip shows her walking some, then crawling. There is no sound because they were taken with my still camera.
