Becca's Haircut!

I got a hair cut almost a month ago, but I never posted any pictures of it, so I thought I'd do that now. I really like how it turned out. My friend Jenna from Sandy 2nd ward cut it and then she had styled it too. I haven't been able to achieve the exact same look on my own, but maybe I'll get it by the time my next haircut is due. Mostly it's because I've been putting it back in a ponytail most of the time because I've been packing, moving, and unpacking. I tried doing it curly and my hair just isn't that curly anymore. I might just keep straightening it at least until it grows a little bit longer.

We're Here!

So we moved to Oregon. Some of you doubted we would complete the move because we had said we were moving to Provo a while back and never did. But this time we actually did it! So far it's great. Our place here is about the same square footage as our last apartment, but only 2 bedrooms instead of 3. So now Jordan's office is in our bedroom, which I think will be fine. But other than that this apartment is nicer than our old one. It is part of a side by side duplex where the owners live in the other side. They are very attentive to all of our needs and small repairs that need to be done. When we have our house in order I will post more pictures and/or a video of our apartment.

Addy seems to have adjusted great. She loves seeing Mitch and Myrna and says "grandpa house?" whenever we go out the door. She has an order of preference for which person she prefers. She likes Daddy, then "grandpa" (is interchangeable with grandma because she only has the one word for them), then Mommy. She sometimes even pushes me away. Sometimes I feel sad, but most of the time I'm grateful she is willing and wanting other people to play with and take care of her. We haven't been very good at taking pictures, but we will definitely post pictures of Addy's 2nd birthday on Tuesday.

This is a picture of our living room. There is a sliding glass door to the left that leads to the fenced in backyard. The fireplace is a gas one that works with the flip of a switch, no skills needed :). Jordan likes his chair out there on the other side of the room. It is his relaxing chair. It spins around and he can put his feet up on the window sill and look out the window to the landscaped backyard. The other great thing about our new apartment home is that the landlords have a professional lawn maintenance company take care of all the trimming, mowing, weeding, spraying, etc., so we get to enjoy the yard without paying for maintenance or picking up a tool! That is SO nice.
